error activating solution

Hi when i try to activate this a solution in a site collection (solution gallery) i get the following error:

This solution contains invalid markup or elements that cannot be deployed as part of a sandboxed solution. Solution manifest for solution '5801b2fa-1ed4-44f5-9321-a05f10947dc3' failed validation, file manifest.xml, line 6, character 4: The element 'Solution' in namespace 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/' has invalid child element 'TemplateFiles' in namespace 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/'. List of possible elements expected: 'FeatureManifests, ActivationDependencies' in namespace 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/'.
 
Any ideas?

Hello Beanyjon,

It looks like you are trying to deploy this as a sandbox solution.  Unfortunately this solution has to be deployed as a farm solution.  I am sorry I didn't have this noted on the documentation page.  I will update that.

Hello All,

Thank you for the solution.

I am trying to upload the solution in SharePoint online environment and its giving me the same error as beanyjon was getting. Is the solution applicable in SP online as well? or do we need to change something?

Hello,

Thank you for your interest, unfortunately this solution only works with on premise environments where you can deploy the .wsp on the server.
